- Readers: Name and Email address when signing up for the journal or newsletter.

HSS uses the personal information it collects for the following purposes:
– Authors: Submissions, review, and publication processes are managed; this also contains interactions with authors on anything or matters related to the submission point of manuscripts (e.g., assigning submissions for editing and reviewing by editors/peer reviewers), as well as early-stage publishing misconduct mechanisms associated with author data from print articles.
– Reviewers: Invite them to review manuscripts matching areas of expertise and communicate with them once they agree.
- Editors: Facilitate the editorial process and communication with authors and reviewers.
- Readers: To send information on updates and newsletters related to HSS
HSS will not use your Personal Information for any purposes other than the objectives above unless consent is obtained from you for such other purposes.
