- Editors: Author, affiliation, and email address.
- Readers: Name and Email address when signing up for the journal or newsletter.

JCIS uses the personal information it collects for the following purposes:
– Authors: Submissions, review, and publication processes are managed; this also contains interactions with authors on anything or matters related to the submission point of manuscripts (e.g., assigning submissions for editing and reviewing by editors/peer reviewers) as well such early-stage publishing misconduct mechanisms associated author data from print articles.
– Reviewers: To invite to review manuscripts matching areas of expertise and to communicate with them once they agree.
- Editors: Facilitate the editorial process and communication with authors and reviewers.
- Readers: To send information on updates, and newsletters related to JCIS
JCIS will not use your Personal Information for any purposes other than the objectives above unless consent is obtained from you for such other purpose.

JCIS is interested in honoring the privacy of our users and will not distribute personal information to third parties unless one (or more) of a limited number of exceptions permit such distribution.
